SUPPLEMENTARY SCORES 2008

Once again the rules allow for golfers who have difficulty playing in QUALIFYING COMPETITIONS to submit up to 10 supplementary scores in order to maintain their handicap.

This year, any member who wishes to submit a supplementary score MUST, before commencing play, register his/her intent in the Register of Supplementary Scores, which is available in the clubhouse.

Members taking advantage of this system should note that a card received as a supplementary score will not be considered unless it has been registered prior to commencement of the round. Likewise, any card not returned after a Supplementary Score Round has been registered, will be considered a breach of the Rules of Golf, and appropriate action will be taken against the member.
